Online Safety
We place great emphasis on understanding the safe use of the internet. However, as we all recognise, the internet holds pitfalls for all our children that they need to learn how to safely navigate. Here at Southfield Park we are dedicated to keeping our children as safe as possible by giving them the right skills and knowledge to make safe choices.
We have a commitment and responsibility to safeguard children and staff and this includes their online activity. Children’s use of devices at school is supervised and follows a structured teaching plan according to the national curriculum programmes of study , helping children to learn progressively about online safety issues during their time at school.
Internet access at school, is strictly filtered and monitored to ensure that children are as safe as possible when using computers at school.
